I am a 17 year-old student at Alameda High School who is passionate about public policy and environmental science. I currently intern at my local City Manager's Office, and have worked with many different policies that fight economic inequality. I discovered the effects of harsh stereotypes against women in policy, such as us being "incapable." I hope to remediate this issue through honest conversation with local female leaders in policy, climate action, business, or other male dominated fields.
